I am normally quite proud of what I consider to be quite a load clap – great for making people jump! :-)
There is a man in china though who can clap as loud as a helicopter!
I am not sure if this sort of thunderous clap counts as a god-like power – be I wonder if he could turn this super-power to better purposes? Is this what the world needs now? Clap-Man?
Very interesting snippet this…I never knew helicopters could clap!! My wife, Sara, who is a teacher can clap her hands so loudly it sounds like a gunshot. Is a gunshot louder than a helicopter?? Maybe she should contact the record book!!

Funnily enough i was looing at this at work and he claps at 107db!! thats ridiculous lol and yeah i think thats louder than a gunshot
Interesting… After being bugged to death from my buddy “Francis” about having the loudest clap ever, I started doing some research as well. 97.7db was the world record in 2006, by this said China Man, my buddys claps are very similar to a snub nose .357. He wants to get the Clapping Record to America for the first time ever. Any one know how to get Guinness Book of World Records People to America? I dont want to pay them to come, but if there is a try out or anything, we are there, and then we will break this said Chinamans Record and bring the title back to the Red, White, and Blue. And No that doesnt mean France.
