After being bugged to death from my buddy "Francis" about having the loudest clap ever, I started doing some research as well. 97.7db was the world record in 2006, by this said China Man, my buddys claps are very similar to a snub nose .357. He wants to get the Clapping Record to America for the first time ever. Any one know how to get Guinness Book of World Records People to America? I dont want to pay them to come, but if there is a try out or anything, we are there, and then we will break this said Chinamans Record and bring the title back to the Red, White, and Blue. And No that doesnt mean France.

Interesting… After being bugged to death from my buddy “Francis” about having the loudest clap ever, I started doing some research as well. 97.7db was the world record in 2006, by this said China Man, my buddys claps are very similar to a snub nose .357. I´m half English half Catalan, and I also have problems with the weather in Catalunya or Spain. Again people use stereotypes, like that it´s always sunny and warm, and that there is no snow (except on hills) or some people are suprised that we have central heating in my town Manlleu, which is inland, from Barcelona.
We have cold winters, with temperatures that can go down to -10ºC sometimes even more, like the -17ºC in 2001!!!!! Many garden plants and wild animals died, birds etc.

So for example if all I want is a telephone number in a rush then a 118 number with put through service is rich,a system which tells me all sorts of things in addition is just cumbersome - in that context.
So its the context for me. For example if I have broadband and write a few letters and some other documents then a cloud Document application will be all I need but if I am writing War and Peace 2 then I am going to need something more specialised.
For the me the strength of the cloud is rapid and wide deployment across platforms, including mobile. It has great potential for interactivity on the go. But for something more specialised something else is needed.
This debate btw has been really useful, I've been looking at how servies are catorgorised and its really helped sharpened my views.
Cheers

I am in agreement with you that you can make great user experiences with mobile web apps - i just disagree with richer.

stuart my entire last comment was in response to your poinr that you can make richer experiences on cheaper phones with web/cloud based technology than with local apps.

I am in agreement with you that you can make great user experiences with mobile web apps – i just disagree with richer.
